Hawaii Wins the US Little League World Series Championship Behind 15 Strikeouts From Cyborg Pitcher Aukai Kea

Sorry I’m not Rico Bosco hacking into the site to blog little league, but just thought I’d touch on Hawaii winning the US Championship today. More importantly, their pitcher is a goddamn cyborg. Aukai Kea still hasn’t given up a run in Williamsport and today struck out 15 guys in his six shutout innings. He’s just better than everyone else out there. I mean he literally broke a kid’s bat in half in the 6th inning. What the fuck? I’d pay money to have Carrabis bat against this kid. He’d strikeout every single time and not come close and then blame it on the weather.

This is the same kid who hit the walkoff a few days ago, also against Georgia, and didn’t smile at all. All business. Love it.

On a serious note it’s been a shitty week for the Hawaiian players, coaches, and family members who made the trip out to PA. Hurricane Lane has been targeting Hawaii and was on course to do some serious damage. In the video below you could see how much it has affected the team and how they’re playing for everyone back home.

Luckily, Hurricane Lane was downgraded to a tropical storm and will miss the islands. Good news all around. Now go beat the fuck out of South Korea tomorrow.

Great group of kids.
